Why I built it
Wine apps are databases pretending to be sommeliers. They tell you scores; they don't tell you what to drink with the duck.
Process
- Built the corpus first — curated, not scraped. Sommelier books, course notes, peer reviews.
- Pairing prompt is opinionated. It picks one wine, not a list.
